Job Description



Responsibilities
  • Provide timely regulatory approval on new raw material or alternate supplier
  • Assess raw material regulatory compliance and approve Vendor in the company online system
  • Manage regulatory systems to ensure compliance to statutory requirements and corporate policies/guidelines including Halal, Kosher certification and documentation/certification related to food regulatory agencies.
  • Verify the regulatory data in SAP system with respect to approved Vendor information
  • Work with vendor to secure satisfactory raw material information, regulatory related certificates
  • Manage APAC Material Change Process
  • Work with all the relevant stake holders to complete the Material Change process
  • Review and approve the Material Consolidation requests related to RA Raw Material matters
  • Handle data gaps in the System and work with vendor and relevant stake holders to close gaps
  • Work with APAC Procurement & Purchasing team and raw material Global Approval team to achieve timely full approval of APAC raised raw material


Requirements
  • Degree in Food Science/Chemistry/Technologies or related fields
  • 3 years experience in regulatory affairs or quality in the flavor industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry or related fields.
  • Ability to understand and interpret relevant rules and regulations
  • Self-motivated to meet deadlines for all requests
