Job Description

 

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Drives regional deployment of Sales Excellence initiatives 
  • Responsible for Customer Portfolio optimization (demand / value rebalancing)
  • Coordinates customer data for demand forecast; liaison with tactical coordinator on supply / demand balances; coordinates spot opportunities
  • Generates rolling demand forecast for planning initiatives (e.g. GST, contracting plan)
  • Provides input to Regional Marketing Development strategies and activities, including evaluation of market opportunity, customer insights, potential industries/customers, projected growth
  • Manages regional channel model, as it pertains to distributors and alliances
  • Responsible for regional Sales Excellence improvement and advice to Sales
  • Participate in global network of B&S Sales Excellence Advisors to share best practices and ensure global alignment
  • Support regional project / strategy work with a clear tie to Sales Enablement
  • Responsible for identification of new tools required for improved channel or EM sales personnel performance
  • Coordinate regional annual contracting plan
  • Participate in Regional LT meeting (quarterly)

 

Expected Level of Proficiency

  • Degree in Engineering from a leading institution with more than 6 years' working experience in high value B2B sales
  • Prior experience in petroleum additives or specialty chemicals business preferred
  • Strong knowledge of consumer research methodologies, analytics, marketing and strategy
  • Has good interpersonal skills, drive and resourceful with sound business judgement
  • Has ethical values an ability to work within safety, ethics and operation integrity requirements
