R&D Engineer (9 mths Contract Renewable/Up to $4.5k/East)

9 months Contract Renewable

Basic salary $3500 - $4500

5 day work week (900am-600pm)

Location: East (Tampines)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of engineers to develop systems for industrial applications.
• Design and development of Software applications on embedded, PC, and PAC.
• Perform System Independent Design of Control Systems: Conceptualize and detail design.
• Develops circuitry/component drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
• Good decision making with strong judgment through collaboration and consideration of others point-of-view.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of Industrial Automation or similar field
• Working knowledge of programming tools such as Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Microchip controller
• Knowledge in embedded and Windows-based programming languages, such as C++, C#.net is a plus
• Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within high performing teams as well as independently.
• Has a rational, innovative, and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Able to lead and/or support the decision-making process to solve problems.
• Able to proactively consult key stakeholders to ensure the quality of judgment.
• Shows enthusiasm and desire to learn process scale-up techniques and broaden the skill set in an R & D environment
