QA / QC Analyst (North, Food/Nutrition, Office Hours)

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre-operational and operational plant inspections
• Ensure compliance of all raw materials and finished product
• Perform laboratory test such as total solids, pH, viscosity, allergen, air monitoring etc
• Prepare samples for external laboratory analysis
• Maintain working knowledge of all instruments used for routine and non-routine sample testing and troubleshooting
• Create Certificate of Analysis for product release in timely manner
• Maintain GMP standard in plant
• Update SOP, work instruction and testing plan
• Propose improvements to process and product controls
• Identify deviations and support investigation activities
• Train production team on quality control measures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• min. Nitec / Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality assurance and/or control from the food/ beverage manufacturing environment or related environment
• Strong knowledge in general maintenance and troubleshooting of general mechanical equipment
• Proficient in MS office application
• Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• This role will be required to support shift team
