You will be responsible for:

  • Oversee overall quality and safety of food products at Central Kitchen & all outlets
  • Work closely with Central Kitchen, logistics/warehouse and outlet managers, supervisors and staff to maintain and improve existing quality control procedures and “trouble-shoot” QA related production problems as they arise
  • Ensure that food products meet standards set by company and regulatory bodies
  • Develop and review quality and safety policies
  • Conduct and manage regular inspections and audits
  • Oversee manufacturing and production processes in Central Kitchen and workflow and processes at outlets
  • Maintain and improve existing quality control procedures
  • Conduct investigations on customers’, outlets’ and Central Kitchen’s feedback
  • Monitoring product integrity and conducting product testing
  • Examining, testing, and measuring product during daily production runs in Central Kitchen, ensuring a match to specifications
  • Validate that all products were made in compliance with SOPs of the company
  • Ensure that SOPs are adhered to
  • Monitor quality standards of products
  • Ensure that all activities conform to HACCP & AVA/NEA/SFA guidelines
  • Responsible for the training, supervision and evaluation of QA personnel
  • Prepare and maintain reports
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments
  • Conduct regular meetings
  • Supervise and oversee all quality assurance matters

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science or food-related field
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience of which at least 5 years in managerial level, managing a team of at least 5 QA personnel
  • Knowledge of HACCP programs, audits and management
  • Knowledge of all food safety standards and compliance in the food manufacturing and F & B industry
  • Must be meticulous and possess analytical skills to detect and resolve issues
  • Able to enforce the rules and regulations in a confident and positive manner and continue to instill effective quality control concepts and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese
  • Able to interact with English and Chinese speaking colleagues effectively
  • Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative and well organized
  • Able to complete all duties accurately and on time
  • Strong management, leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player that motivates and educates other team members
  • Willing to go extra mile
