Job Description

Purchaser / Senior Purchaser ( Construction )

Prepare and issue purchase order to suppliers upon receipt of Purchase
Requisition from Site Supervisor / Project Engineer / Project Coordinator for parts/inventory needed.
Monitor / review inventory stocking policy to ensure good balance between
assurances of supply with minimal inventory holding.
Tracking and follow up with suppliers on the order status to ensure timely delivery.
Contact and liaise with suppliers to resolve the shortage, damaged goods,
missing items, and other ad-hoc problems.
Negotiate with suppliers on the best pricing and delivery schedule.
Shipment coordination with forwarders and suppliers.
Coordinate with Finance Department to ensure timely payment.
Perform any buying activities if necessary.
Prepare all the necessary documents for Finance Department.
Conduct and carry out stock take as when required.
Identify research, evaluate, and select suppliers for that meet the
organizations standard of price, quality, and timing and reliability of supply.
Liaise with Project Team on delivery and verification of product specification
to ensure material is proper and meet with client’s guideline and requirement.
Maintains the filing system of purchasing records to fulfil with ISO requirement.

Job Requirements:-
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in planning, purchasing and inventory management
