Project Manager, Global Emerging Markets

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring project is delivered on time, within budget and meet agreed SLA's and KPI's
  • Establishing and managing benefits case through the project lifecycle
  • Working closely with stakeholders and assurance teams to identify, challenge and agree the scope and critical purpose of the project
  • Challenging, understanding and committing to estimates and schedules and controlling project budget
  • Management of all Project risks and issues including identification of escalation points
  • Management of subject matter experts within the project team
  • Management of third-party IT Delivery Partners
  • Engagement with all relevant stakeholders ensuring effective involvement in the delivery life cycle including project reporting
  • Engagement with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure seamless transition into Application Support
  • Build and maintain professional relationships internal and external to the immediate team and with and specific 3rd party suppliers
  • Working with peers to make best use of available resources according to priority and need.



Qualifications and Experience
  • Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies issues, and devises contingency plans
  • Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
  • Plans, schedules, and tracks project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Develops clear and concise documentation to identify processes, problems, and action plans as well as design attractive and simple sketches, charts, diagrams, and other illustrative material to facilitate communication of complicated topics
  • Provides frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability Facilitates collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels and serves as a role model for teamwork
  • PRINCE 2 and SCRUM Master qualifications
  • Over 5 years' experience of project management across business and IT change working with waterfall and agile frameworks
  • Good project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Good planning, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Working hours may need to be flexible to support delivery of various projects and deliverables across geographies.
