The Job

In this role, you will be a part of a team that oversees, leads and grows the broader Project Management team in line with the growth of business and market needs.

You will be responsible for :

• Providing delivery of and against continuing and new development initiatives, including the interaction with internal and external stakeholders 
• Working with cross-functional teams to maintain ongoing programs of work that continually improve and increase success in the region 
• Ensuring programs & projects adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements that protect the company and its customers  
• Developing clear and measurable outcomes for program and project deliveries
• Regularly reporting progress and re-incorporating results to improve the next cycle of development within the Tech Team and the broader business of the company

The Profile

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 7 years of experience working in various facets of the information technology industry and have managed development teams in the software development area
• You have proven experience in developing and delivering against IT programs and projects 
• You have sound knowledge of iterative development methods, including Rational Unified Process, Agile Development and other such software development methods
• You have knowledge or experience in PCI Compliance or other compliance frameworks
• You have experience with software languages such as Java and infrastructures such as AWS
• Exposure to transactional or financial systems will be an advantage
• You ideally have a background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, development or operations, with a clear interest in information technology 
• You have proven experience in vendor and contract management
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You hold yourself to highest standards of personal integrity
• You have the ability and capacity to “own” the role and the business that the role is responsible for
• You adopt a mature and process-oriented approach
