Project Coordinator / Project Engineer
Position: Project Coordinator
Plan & Implement overall site organization & resources
To set project's target & in alignment to company's objective & goals
To assist Project Manager to oversees the project team and sub-contractors in delivery of project in accordance to approved contract completion date/stipulated phases
To ensure quality delivery of the project by meeting of Client's expectation and satisfying relevant Authority and regulatory compliance.
To liaise with Architects/Consultants in all aspects of construction matters during the site progression phase
To assist Project Manager to resolve all site issues
Plan and monitor preliminary cost budget to ensure project cost within approved budget
To implement control measures on material/plant & equipment/utilities usage
Control of direct labour usage in labour allocation and working of overtime
To motivate the team including sub-contractors to work cohesively to achieve project targets.
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Computer Skill - using Microsoft project & Microsoft office
Class 3 driving license
Min 1-2 years working experience
Ability in assist Project Manager to achieve excellence in the project.
Manage the transmission of documents and drawings to the client and sub contractor to ensure the updated drawings are issued.
Prepare method of statement and work procedure
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with method of statement
Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update progress of work
Ensure quality of work is achieved and all government and safety regulation are complied
Check the construction drawings for correctness
Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation
Manage procurement of resources, monitor and control material usage on site to avoid unnecessary wastage or wrongly usage.
Prepare monthly progress report with progress photographs
Assist the Project Manager in co-ordination with consultants on change order issued and liaise closing with the Quantity surveyor by providing necessary supporting documents on the change order
Organize labor, equipment and material for day to day site activities
Co-ordinate with safety personnel regarding safety related matters.
Co-ordinate on the submission of incident report to loss adjuster
Carry out material receiving inspection and maintaining material record. All delivery order are to be return to office for record
Prepare daily report, perform and maintain inspection record.
Any other duties assigned
Minimum 3 year local project supervision experience
Approved Qualification by PEB or BCA Resident Engineer.
