Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Tactical sourcing of new parts to existing AVL suppliers
  • Involved in Strategic sourcing projects and cost analysis
  • Update pricing (P-info records) and maintain Material master data
  • Plan materials and manage supplier capacity
  • Responsible for price analysis and price and lead time negotiation
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with KPI
  • Comply with and execute strategies in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Create Supplier contracts and negotiate for the terms and maintain Outline Agreements in SAP
  • Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, goods receipt and supplier billing

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, buying and planning in oilfield equipment and materials such as high tensile, steel, springs, seals, and other elastomer components
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Having knowledge in procurement contracts is an added advantage
