Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors including TPDD (Third Party Due Diligence) and vendor account setup process
  • Provides support to Casino operations on all material flow issues to meet departmental and guest requirements.  Perform comprehensive evaluations to ensure best-in-class pricing based on total cost of ownership
  • Develop comprehensive category strategies that documents sourcing approaches, preferred suppliers, cost performance and gaps, quality performance and gaps, logistics solutions and gaming roadmaps
  • Reviews historical usage and product specifications to accurately determine optimal amount of materials required.  Excel in supplier negotiations using multiple approaches such as market tests, long term agreements, cost models
  • Interfaces with internal clients and support them to maximize their cost savings while obtaining best quality product for Operation.  Interfaces with buyers and peers in planning and forecasting of operations needs to meet required shipment and delivery timelines
  • Provide internal clients with detailed supply market condition, trends and analyses that may affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing and also with recommendation on supply solution
  • Performs analysis of materials and determines optimum control levels; prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation with key suppliers 
  • Summarize sourcing recommendation and be able to convince stakeholders of sourcing recommendation
  • Provide equivalent support to other territories and project as and when needed; performs any other related duties as assigned
  • Visit suppliers regularly to understand manufacturing processes and new developments
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Ariba Contract Workspace / Contract Term / Catalog set up, contracting review
  • Work with Global Gaming team on Gaming Innovation projects and annual priorities to achieve Casino Operations project roadmap
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement

  • Good knowledge in MS Excel and MS Word and SAP Ariba
  • Strong computer and analytical skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work well with co-workers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Well-developed sense for assessment, problem-solving, and logistical decision-making
  • Committed to plan, organize, and execute projects in a timely and cost-effective manner Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to coordinate multi-tasks and work calmly and confidently with frequent interruptions and pressure.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to achieve goals.  Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to properly maintain files and historical data
