The Post

UWCSEA is seeking an experienced, qualified, native speaker part-time teacher of Cantonese for our Home Languages Programme (HLP) at East Campus starting from September 2020.

Main Responsibilities

The HLP is for native speakers/mother tongue students who want to maintain a language spoken at home but who do not study this language as part of the academic curriculum during the school day.

The students’ ages are from 4 to 16 years old. Classes are taught in small groups of 3 -6 students of similar ages and linguistic level and take place after school (or at lunchtime for some younger students).

Please note that to apply for this role, you must be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or if you are a foreign applicant, you must have an internationally recognised qualification and reside in Singapore.
