Roles & Responsibilities

This position provides legal assistant support to attorneys in the Project Finance, Securities and Corporate groups.

  • Conduct legal and company research
  • Review and proofread legal documents (definition/cross reference checks and book reads)
  • Maintain and update working group lists
  • Manage and organize case files and document production
  • Organize due diligence documents
  • Draft form documents and correspondence to deal participants
  • Assist with closings and prepare closing documents and bibles for distribution
  • Load and organize closing sets and deal documents in relevant databases
  • Prepare responses to auditor requests
  • Assist with business development efforts
  • Other responsibilities as assigned from time-to-time


  • Law degree from a recognised university
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize
  • Able to complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think critically and analytically, and exhibit sound judgment
  • Effective interpersonal and team working skills
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
