Operations Engineer (ITSM/Jira) / Contract / $5500+AWS (SPZJ)

• Working Days: 5 days work week (8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday)
• Job Type: Yearly contract renewable basis
• Salary Range: up to $5,500 + AWS + Comprehensive Benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure optimum system performance.
• Working with data engineering team, operations manager and project manager.
• Monitor and ensure IT Operations are functional 
• Assisting L1 & L2 activities to the users.
• Administer, monitor and maintain Linux & Windows Servers, Big Data Clusters, etc.
• Configure and deploy new servers and perform hardening.
• Perform data and server backup and system security operations.
• Liaise with vendors and engineers for installations / replacements of hardware.
• Manage application / platform and security incidents.
• Perform and software assets and inventory management.
• Operation processes are documented and complies with audit requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology.
• Min 3 years relevant working experience in IT Operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
