Job Description

Brief Description
The overall purpose of the Corporate Food and Beverage Operations Manager is to oversee, direct, and coordinate the food and beverage operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. They are to provide inspiring and strategic leadership while directing the activities of the Food and Beverage Operations in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.

  • Work closely with Top Management on strategic business planning & operations
  • Oversee the whole business segment including of daily operations, recruiting of manpower and work force allocation
  • nsure correct stock levels are available from central distribution area, to assist the operational Food and Beverage team
  • To be the department representative for Special Events, working each special event as the departmental duty manager
  • Involve all planning associated with each event, right through to delivery
  • To lead, coach and motivate the outlets' teams to achieve on monthly sales target, workplace and food safety, customers satisfaction and quality service 
  • Responsible for staff training and development
  • Adherence to all regulatory compliances
  • Ensure the outlets strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
  • Oversee all staff related matters including payroll, promotion exercise, disciplinary matters etc.
  • Supervises the day-to-day activities of multiple non-exempt operations associates within a defined individual or group of restaurants, concepts or stores
  • Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures that all shifts are covered
  • Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
  • Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
  • Monitors and maintains the productivity level of employees.
  • Verifies that all team members/supervisors understand the brand specific philosophy.
  • Conducts and coordinates on-the-job training for associates, and ensures all associates receive basic skills training to perform their jobs
  • Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
  • Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and passion for providing service.
  • Supports DO and/or Multi-Unit F&B Manager in developing and implementing creative strategies to increase revenue
  • Assists in the ordering of Food and Beverage (F&B) supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or comparable education and relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years experience in managing multiple outlets and special events.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage facility operations.
  • Experience within luxury brand/markets - required
  • Experience with F&B Point of Sale Systems - preferred
  • Ability to maintain and develop effective relationships and lead diverse work teams across multi-functional areas.
  • Able to lead and motivate to produce results
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Willing to be involved in hands on operations and lead by example
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Can start work immediately
