Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)
To provide support in managing the day-to-day operations of the security and building as well as administrative support to the department / company.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :
- Facilities (24 hours)
- Assist the Office Manager in any facilities related matter.
- Be a contact person for any facilities related matter.
- Liaise and oversee the contractors / vendors on any building and maintenance repairs.
- Schedule and monitor the maintenance work / repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of facilities.
- Supervise the office cleaners.
- Security (24 hours)
- Assist the Office Manager in any security related matter.
- Be a contact person for any security related matter.
- Patrol the building.
- Be a Photographer for any company events.
- Apply and terminate phone and fax lines.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mails including franking machine.
- Stock take and issuance of stationery and pantry goods / items including uniforms.
- Prepare the Monthly Stationery and Sundries Reports.
- Cover Receptionist duty if necessary.
(B) General :
- Handle and provide administrative duties within the Company.
- Other duties as assigned.
(C) Safety :
- Follow Company safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.
(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :
- “O” Level with credits in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
(B) Knowledge & Skills :
- Service oriented and goof interpersonal skills.
- Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
- Meticulous and a team-player.
(C) Experience :
- Preferably with at least 1 year relevant experience in facilities / construction industry or related field.
