Job Description Facilities Engineer will be responsible as a system owner on designated Facility System and Equipment for its operation, maintenance, and engineering. You will be able to routinely use technical judgment in solving problems making routine recommendations and improving existing work processes. You will make substantial technical contributions to the success of the department using proven solutions for complex technical problems. You will listen to customer feedback, recognize opportunities and provide feedback for technical innovation. Decision could impact quality and schedule of projects but would generally be contained to the department   Responsibilities and Tasks   Job Responsibilities includes  
  • Electrical System e.g. high/low voltage system, instrumentation system, IT infra system, generator set.
 
  • Provide support for operational issues and root cause analysis with Corrective and Preventive Action of the systems.
 
  • Analyze system capabilities and future requirements during scenario evaluations based on manufacturing capacity and demand.
 
  • Support design reviews for base build systems in your area of responsibility insuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
 
  • Support designs for the systems that connect to those tools insuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
 
  • Review and support capacity analysis for your systems tracking against actual data from the facility.
 
  • Identifies and evaluates risk analysis for your systems and proposes possible improvements.
  Equipment and Facilities Processes  
  • Provide solutions to real time equipment and process problems.
 
  • Evaluate new or modified equipment specification requirements and system capacity study.
 
  • Use, identify and implement equipment and process control methods
 
  • Develop and implement long term improvements in equipment or processes that result in cost reduction, improved reliability and safety improvements.
 
  • Identify root cause from the excursion or abnormal operation and conducts analytical improvement and lesson learnt as part of preventive actions.
 
  • Identify and evaluate interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems.
  Projects  
  • Participate in or manage specific projects.
 
  • Involve in project scheduling and planning for efficient and effective project execution
 
  • Managing and controlling availability of manpower, material, cost, timeline and ensuring quality in delivery
  Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)  
  • Follow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
 
  • Ensure compliance of all facility equipments in accordance to regulations.
 
  • Ensure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit.
  Cost Reduction  
  •  Responsible for reducing costs associated within the area. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost conscious culture.
  Typical Responsibilities  
  • Provide support for operational issues and root cause analysis with Corrective and Preventive Action of the systems.
 
  • Analyze system capabilities and future requirements during scenario evaluations supporting lead engineers.
 
  • Complete scope of work documents in support of scenario analysis that correspond to the estimated cost estimates in support of lead engineers.
 
  • Support design reviews for base build systems in your area of responsibility insuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
 
  • Support designs for the systems that connect to those equipment insuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
  • Colloborate with corss function manufacturing team to follow up and advise Electerical issues to minimize/eliminate production output impact
  • Lead the team and drive eTPM with operation and maintenance team as per World Wide facilities roadmap and report timely
  • Actively drive the Energy saving projects
  • Lead the team and drive Plant Shutdown maintenance as well as make sure that all Electrical equipment PM carry out wtihin the PSD maintenance timeline without any issues
  •  Actively involved in FMEA, eTPM implementation and alignment along with ongoing support for electrical systems
  • Drive the alignment for common methodologies, conformance, Facilities Disciplines, PTP, SIPP’s, MOC and 8D problem solving, GDM throughout the network for electrical systems
  • Assess and ensure effective and consistent PM and predictive maintenance programs, procedures and checklists across the network
  • Analyze and benchmark equipment performance
  • Thorough review of Major/Minor/Near Miss and GDM events until proper documentation and closure
  • Collaborate and communicate with GFTT

Education Required   Bachelors Degree
  • Engineering - Electrical
 

Experience Required   5 years experience in any of the following:
  • • Minimum 5 years experience in facility department or directly involve in facility equipment/system
1 year experience in any of the following:
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in Manufacturing Industrial preferably in Semiconductor
   

Additional Information:
• Experience in ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 is an added advantage.
