Job Description

Goals:

  • Create online and offline communities for members to engage, growing their connections in The Club
    • To create a vibrant online community for members
    • Create in real life events to meet the membership at different points of life
    • Work with the ad agency to create online content for attracting potential members

Social Media Engagement

  • Find out what channels members prefer
  • Develop a clear strategy for online engagement for both members and attracting potential members
  • Create a community engagement plan to reach out to and engage members, using analytics to grow our online community
  • Content creation -- create videos, etc.
  • Develop a content strategy to captivate and engage and work with teams to execute the content
  • Be a brand ambassador
  • Identify influencers and develop a strategy for partnerships
  • Manage community engagement
  • Social Monitoring, including review sites and online presence
  • Manage messenger, comments, reposts, mentioned and other interactions
  • Manage customer complaints, collect feedback, network with members, providing online customer service
  • Drive discussions online on particular platforms, looking for opportunities to respond and address concerns

Member Engagement Events

  • Work across departments to create Club wide events
  • Project manage events across departments to ensure the best experience for members
  • Align department events for a cohesive club experience
  • Develop creative programmatic ideas to reach different segments of the membership, including niche groups
  • Own the events process, from event creation to communication, execution to evaluation.
  • Provide high level execution and follow through on events, ensuring everything is thought through and delivered at a high level
  • Evaluate effectiveness of events

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experiences in events and digital marketing positions; Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a related field
  • Proven ability to design programs and events for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online communities and engagement
  • Proven ability to be proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgment and the ability to work quickly across shifting priorities and tight timelines with the goal of delivering best-in-class service, quality, and accuracy
  • Position requires a high degree of adaptability and professionalism.  The person in this role faces a variety of internal and external issues and audiences on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately
  • Demonstrated capabilities across both traditional and non-traditional channels, message development and storytelling in the new media landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to logistically execute events and strategy
  • Experience with examples in speaking and presentation skills, planning, budget management, issues and project management
  • Ability to be an articulate, smart decision maker, and think clearly under pressure with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated team and marketing integration experience in a business environment and working knowledge needed to support the club’s strategic direction
