Job Description

The Marketing and Communication Executive is responsible for facilitating strategic partnerships with commercial and industry establishments to enhance the value propositions which Montfort Care brings to the community. By working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, he/she will develop win-win partnership programmes, go-to-market initiatives and promotional plans to attract sponsorship/donations. He/she will serve as an internal advocate to ensure that the interests of our partners are secured, while achieving Montfort Care's objectives. Together with internal team members, he/she is also expected to drive key projects and initiatives.

The Marketing and Communication Executive is responsible for:

  • Developing and enhancing branding strategy for group-level;
  • Planning and coordinating all group-level communications;
  • Driving strategic marketing and overall group-level marketing;
  • Maintaining message consistency, alignment and coherence with the organisation and its goals;
  • Developing Montfort Care's online and social presence;
  • Managing the Group's communication channels, employee communications and management support;
  • Cultivating and maintaining community/commercial partnerships; and
  • Growing a stable inflow of funds

  • Requirements
    • Recognised Diploma in a relevant field

    • Recognised Degree in a relevant field
    • Communications: Excellent oral, written and inter-personal communications skills in dealing with individuals and groups at all levels
    • People Management: Experience in managing and developing staff
    • Functional: Good working knowledge of Communications practices, as it pertains to a not-for-profit organization
    • Community: Experience in attracting, building capabilities, and retaining volunteers
    • Planning: The ability to develop strategic plans at the group-level. The ability to forecast resources and to manage resources to deliver the work plan objectives
    • Industry: Basic knowledge of various policies, assistance schemes, and procedures related to the delivery of services and programs
    • Fund-Raising: Basic knowledge of various legal and statutory requirements related to the raising of public funds, and a good understanding of various channels available for fundraising
    • Media: Knowledge of media, knowledge of effective and efficient methods to interact with various media, ability to handle media of various kinds, ability to advise organisation on dealing with the media
    • Analytical Ability, Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking: The ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to think strategically, formulate decisions and make recommendations for the long-term
    • 2 years prior experience required
    • Prior experience as a social worker or counsellor would be advantageous
