Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas. Duties may be related to installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment, technical support of one or more production processes, product test and troubleshooting, and technical analyses and problem-solving. Conducts tests, experiments and/or problem resolution associated with components, parts, products or processes/systems. May design and/or build tools.

Test & Repair: Tests and calibrates and/or repairs and monitors and/or installs and diagnoses equipment, systems, and/or assemblies. Works from guidelines and standardized procedures/instructions. May design/build tools.

  • Determines and develops approaches to manufacturing technical assignments and processes
  • Responsible for technical duties which require planning and judgment
  • Solves a broad range of manufacturing technical problems of varying scope and complexity
  • Build a variety of delicate and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Manage non-conforming parts, repair and troubleshoot sub-assembly and electronic boards 
  • Work closely with engineering to develop and improve assembly/test jigs, test methodology to improve cycle time and yield of sub-assemblies through value stream mapping. 
  • Operate in FDA Class 1 QSR and ISO13485 environment
  • Support build activities new product introduction of next generation Mass spectrometry devices 

Job Requirements
If you've got higher education/certification/specialized training/relevant experience, then great. More importantly, you have a minimum of 3 years but more typically 6 years experience in a similar environment, a proactive approach and are eager to join a dynamic, results-driven team. Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.
