About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle full spectrum of documentary trade transactions - LC issuance , LC negotiation, Collection or other trade related duties.
  • LC Documentary Checking and ensure all documents checking with no discrepancy and follow up timely settlement for both import and export products &/or Vetting LC terms and conditions 
  • Liaising with clients/Middle Office/Business Units for all Trade Due bills. Coordinate with Remittance department or other stake holders for any pament made &/or received.
  • Servicing both external and internal clients and provide quality service in a timely manner.
  • Assist Team Lead on staff development and management , if any
  • Ensure all trade applications are in compliance with the organization's internal and external compliance including Price check & vessel checks
Job Requirements
  • At Least 3 years experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance/Commodity/Export-Import operations and LC document checking
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good Attitude, Open Minded and a team player 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
  • Conversant in UCP600/ISP/ISBP/URR/URC/INCOTERMS
