About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct periodic review on the performance of non-retail credit risk models
  • Research and apply relevant quantitative methods to credit risk models 
  • Liaise with business units and credit approvers to obtain feedback on use of models
  • Ensure the accuracy of credit risk models implementation in systems by performing user acceptance tests
  • Liaise with finance and business units to prepare monthly MIS reports to analyze portfolio trends, risk profile
  • Advise business on capital charges and to perform business stress tests on the portfolios
     
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Economics, Statistics or other quantitative major
  • Relevant experience in credit risk modeling will be preferred
  • Good quantitative skills
  • Knowledge in non-retail lending will be an added advantage
  • Positive attitude and a good team player
