Job Description

You will be part of a team responsible for managing and analysing workforce data. The work of the team supports Ministry of Manpower’s data-driven approach to policy making, programme evaluation, and enforcement. A key part of the role will be working with our manpower policy teams to translate data into policy analysis and proposals.

You will also support Ministry of Manpower’s Chief Data Officer in setting data strategy for the Ministry. This includes developing data capabilities within Ministry of Manpower, designing plans to maximise the use of data, and working with other government agencies in implementing Whole of Government data policies.

To be effective in this role, you should have an inquisitive and analytical mind. An interest in macro trends in the economy and background in data analysis would be highly useful.
