Job Description

  • Development of ITI Programmes
    • Design of curriculum.
    • Design of course materials.
    • Programme management and conducting needs analysis to identify education requirements.
    • Review and enhance the programme to meet participants’ needs.
    • Marketing of programmes on various social media platforms ie, Linkedln, Facebook and Instagram.
    • Sourcing for qualified trainers or speakers for the programme.
  • Update and maintain the institute’s website and marketing tools.
    • Revamp the existing website.
    • Regularly update and maintain the website.
    • Create marketing materials for programmes.
    • Marketing of programmes on various social media platforms ie, Linkedln, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Manage office operations
    • Operational planning and budgeting.
    • Responsible for generating, compiling, updating and keeping track of the funding applications, claims, reports, assessments, attendance records and other documentation.
    • Prepare and present statistics and reports to Management Team.
    • Plan, organise and manage administrative and logistical matters related to the smooth offering and execution of programmes, seminars, events and activities.
    • Conduct sentiment surveys with external parties.
    • Respond to enquiries from external and internal parties.
    • Work with internal and external parties on operational and administrative matters.
    • Assist in focus group discussions.
    • Assist transcribing work and copy-editing work.
  • Business Development
    • To engage companies.
    • To manage the stakeholders’ interest in ITI and assist on any enquires wherever required.
  • Talent acquisition
    • Develop and implement evaluation framework for companies and candidates.
    • Recruitment and placement of suitable candidates to companies.
    • Conduct interviews when applicable.
  • Liaison between government, companies and participants
    • Programme counseling and advice.
    • Conduct fact finding on the hiring requirements of the company.
  • Assist in any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in business, communications, marketing, or related discipline
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in education or digital business setting.
  • Experience in management, development and talent training and/or Digital experience (mix of functional and technical proficiency).
  • Confident in both written and spoken communication.
  • Strong Organisational skills and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Self-starter, mature and able to work independently and effective team-player

Other Information

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
