Job Description

Job Summary

The Management Trainee as a Kitchen Crew main responsibilities is to serve quality food according to restaurant’s standards of quality and recipes. Crew members will also carry out food order preparations as well as in-charge of sanitizing food preparation area and cleaning duties when required.

 

Job Description

  • Daily kitchen operations such as set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, prepare ingredients to use in cooking (e.g. chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen such as maintaining good condition of kitchen supplies, equipment and work area
  • Ensure all ingredients and other items are stored properly
  • Assisting the Head Chef
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served to the customers on time
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • Willing to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays 
  • Experience in using cutting tools and cookware
  • SHATEC Diploma or equivalent will be an advantage
