About UOB Management Associate Programme

The UOB Management Associate Programme is a 18-month programme aimed at early career talent who are keen to take on leadership and regional roles within the bank. The programme has been designed to provide you with an accelerated induction experience. You will learn different aspects of the business and develop core competencies and technical skills which will fast-track your career in the bank. 

The Management Associate programme is available in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

You will start and end the UOB Management Associate Programme at the Home Division of your choice where you will receive the most intensive training. These divisions include Audit, Brand, Business Banking, Finance and Corporate Services, Retail, Wholesale Banking, Technology and Operations. Over the 18 months programme, you will also be rotated to other business divisions, where you will learn about key aspects of our business, such as customer engagement.

How will you be assessed?

We have in place a comprehensive and rigorous selection and assessment process to help us identify ideal candidates:

Step 1: Psychometric assessment

Step 2: Video interview

Step 3: Assessment centre

Step 4: Panel interview

Step 5: Offer

You will be asked to select the Country (China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand or Singapore) and Home Division if you are shortlisted. 

Job Requirements

We look for candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, strong analytical skills, and a drive for excellence. To qualify, you should possess:

  • Minimum University Bachelor degree
  • No more than two years of working experience
  • An impressive leadership and co-curricular track record
  • Proficiency in English; and preferably a second language

You must possess a strong sense of ethics, the right attitude and a discerning mind to do what is right for the customer and uphold trust in the bank and the industry at large.

They are also able to work well under pressure and have the aptitude to synthesise complex information and develop innovative solutions.
