Job Description

Jobscope

 

Regional

  • Support in development and implementation of long-term network optimization strategies
  • Analyze and identify improvement possibilities
  • Draft and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery 

Logistics Service Provider (LSP)

  • Ensure the delivery of distribution services to be consistent 
  • Implement the Asian Market Logistics’ goals and strategies in the area
  • Develop and implement the overall distribution strategy within the country responsibility area
  • Implement all of Market Logistics standards, tools and reports
  • Manage budgets and expenses 
  • Identify operational and financial improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and service delivery performance for distribution in the region.
  • Build case for change, gain buy-in and implement
  • Provide leadership and support to process harmonization, process re-design and change management efforts
  • Ensure that GDP and the other operational SOPs are followed
  • Leverage of internal and external best practices in distribution
  • Participate in local market Continuous Improvement Initiatives related to distribution

Customer Service

  • Manage the performance of order processing, supply planning for specific markets, inbound product processing and trans-shipment/drop-shipment activities.
  • Set performance standards for the Customer Service group 
  • Translate LCS (Singapore) and customer/stakeholder requirements into clear strategies and operational objectives for the group
  • Oversight and adherence to operational policies and procedures and to ensure effective internal controls are in place
  • Liaise with all business units, customers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure the documentation processed by the team members are complete 
  • Support studies to roll out more 'drop shipments' to the markets in achieving freight savings

Others

  • Participate and where appropriate, sponsor or take the lead on special projects within the Customer Service Group, Operations, LCS or GSC Analysis
  • Coordinate all audit activities 
  • Demonstrate commitment to the continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Develop goals and key performance indications for all team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration (Logistics or Supply Chain) – Engineering or Operations  Research MBA is an asses
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in domestic and/or international logistics operations
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
  • Possess knowledge of logistics systems, warehousing, order fulfillment, customer service, project management practices and integrated supply chain management.
