Logistics Assistant duties include :
a. Receive goods, check quantity and quality as per Purchase Order,
Document details of goods received quantity and quality, inform Logistics Manager of any deviation from PO. Update Reception into Sales and inventory management system. Keep proper document of all receptions.
b. Pack goods for delivery as per Sales Orders released by the Sales Team, do quality control and ensure accurate delivery as per SO. Schedule shipments with Freight forwarders electronically, ship out goods, do shipment closure in the Sales and inventory management system. Ensure proper and detailed documentation of goods sent out and all delivery documents are filed electronically and in hard copy
c. Ensure all goods are properly organised, labelled for easy retrieval of products, parts and accessories.
d. Ensure no stock out situation, notify Procument staff to order goods before stock out situation.
e. Do regular stock count and highlight discrepancies between physical and book stock. Notify staff handling adjustment to pass entries for adjustments.
f. Staff must be be able to use Microsoft office systems
