The UOB Digital Banking team conceives, creates and runs a wide range of digital platforms and assets. As part of our drive to create the most engaging digital banking experiences possible we are expanding our digital design teams in all areas. 

You will be part of a very vibrant and dynamic design team at the heart of the UOB Digital that is innovating the way the customers engage with bank through the most customized experiences possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design and conduct the usability testing process from developing user recruitment to test moderation, analysis and reporting
  • Establish processes and systemize the testing process so it becomes BAU
  • Work with a range of vendors and internal stakeholder to ensure the usability testing process is robust and that findings are useful and actionable.
  • Model insights gained from user research into formats to enhance organizational understanding of users, such as personas and user journey maps
  • Work closely with product owners to devise appropriate research strategies to generate focused insights and to convert concepts into high quality stimulus material
  • Work closely with designers and developers to turn user data into actionable product/service requirements that feed into prototype development, and influence product direction
  • Apply knowledge in human factors and the user-centered design process to product and service design in an iterative development environment
  • Present findings and related design/business recommendations and customer insights to senior decision makers.
  • Promote user centered design principles and best practice across the organisation
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years’ experience planning and executing UX research studies
  • Experience conducting user interviews, A/B Testing, concept tests, and usability studies, both live and  remote
  • Experience of modern  usability techniques and software such as eyetracking, Morae, heatmaps, neuro testing  
  • Experience synthesizing results into executive summaries for key stakeholders, helping them through interpretation of data and related decisions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in a variety of user testing methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Deep analytical ability as well as the ability to think outside the research to interpret the true meaning behind patterns in behaviour
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive; self-starters will thrive in this position
  • Team and vendor management experience
