Job Description

Interior designer | Showroom Co-ordinator

Working Hours : 5.5 days

Location : Central

Industry : Home Styling/ Retail showroom

Singaporean, Malaysian and PR only



  • 2 years ID work experience in related field with relevant portfolio would be preferred
  • Skills required : Sales, Interior Design, Site Supervision, Managerial capabilities
  • Preferably possess qualification in any Interior Design discipline 
  • Able to develop design, space planning and provide drawing in any Computer-aided design (CAD), Microsoft Office and Outlook

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting with prospects to establish a design direction based on their objectives
  • Planning for clients includes spatial planning, design concepts and providing quotations for clients
  • Site Management and oversee installing the design elements
  • Work within timely schedule to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion and delivery
  • Close follow up of project to ensure timely delivery and that the client is satisfied
  • Work closely with clients, vendors, carpenters and sub-contractor
  • Interior designers must be able to read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations.
  • Although some sketches or drawings may be freehand, Computer-aided design (CAD) software is preferred.
  • Responsible for the overall operations of an interior company
  • Conduct periodic stock-take, inventory control etc.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and procedure
  • Brand Image and maintaining the brand image to the highest standards
  • Ensure that the showroom and all displays are neat and tidy at all times
  • Ensure that customers are extended the highest levels of service at all times and to deal promptly with customer complaints
  • Involve in the preparation of all costing for retail items and involve in the selection of inventory until delivery of the orders from suppliers
    Plans future capacity requirements and oversees various inventory items to determine what is selling and what is not selling and which ones are selling out and needs to be re-ordered
  • Submits regular progress reports and on a weekly and monthly basis
