Human Resource Manager

We are an established and leading F&B organization with an overall headcount of 1400 staff strength. We have strong business presence in Singapore and are currently expanding overseas.  As part of our business expansion plan, we are seeking a suitably qualified individual to join us as Human Resource Manager.

Job Scope:-

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the full-spectrum of  human resource function of the company which includes manpower planning, recruitment and selection; training and development; compensation and benefits; employee relations and performance management.

 

The incumbent shall plan and direct programmes and procedures for effective management of the company’s human resources so as to attract, retain and develop skills in support of the company’s strategic and operational objectives. 

 

He / she shall also plan, develop and implement a training and human resource development programme to enhance competencies and skills to support an international standard of practice. 

 

The Human Resource Manager shall also support a culture for teamwork and cohesiveness, service and quality through its human resource and training programmes.   


Other Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develops objectives, strategies, plans, policies and programmes in the areas of manpower planning; recruitment and selection; training and development; compensation and benefits; employee relations and performance management.

 

  • Plans and reviews the manpower requirements for the operations of the company.

 

  • Develops, implements and review the employment terms, compensation and benefits for the different categories of employees.

 

  • Plans and implement programmes for career development, talent management, and succession planning to assure business continuity and in support of business growth.

 

  • Serves as an internal resource for advisory services with respect to labour and immigration laws, regulations, policies and guidelines on employment of manpower.

 

  • Plans, implements and evaluates human resource development objectives, policies and processes, programmes and practices that will support the enhancement of the company’s human resources.

 

  • Plans, implements and evaluates an employee relations programme such as determination of core values, staff events, employee surveys, communications, etc. to a culture of teamwork, service and quality.

 

  • Develops and manage the annual HR plans and budget and ensures that programmes are implemented according to set targets.

 

  • Maintains professional growth and development through the ongoing process of training and human resource development activities.

 

 

Pre-requisities:

Degree in Human Resource Management or Bachelor Degree in any discipline with postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management and at least 5 years’ of experience in the managerial position in an establishment.

 


  • Self-motivated with good leadership qualities;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Prior managerial experience serving in the hospitality industry and managing an establishment with more than 600 employees is a must;
  • Strong leadership qualities, strategic, resourceful with good business acumen;
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications / Timesoft;
  • Prior experience serving in a public listed company would be an added advantage;

  • Remuneration package will commensurate with experience
