Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement HR policies, procedures and programs and ensure staff compliance
  • Work closely with Business Unit Heads on key HR matters
  • Facilitate the entire employment process from recruitment to resignation for all staff; including selection, recruitment, induction, asset issuance, dormitory arrangement, staff confirmation, IR21, exit interview, etc.
  • Handle all individual staff taxation submissions to IRAS yearly
  • Review and process Staff Loan application
  • Perform monthly CPF Submission
  • To perform WP/S Pass/EP renewals and applications
  • Submit CCL, maternity/paternity leave, NS, WDA claims
  • Review, renew and process Staff insurance (WICA/GHS/Travel)
  • Identifying Training Requirements & preparing Training budget
  • Plan and execute Training & Development programmes in collaboration with QC
  • Conduct interview for disciplinary cases
  • To handle company and staff welfare
  • Prepare all HR related letters, memos, notices and office announcements to all staff
  • Work with QC team to maintain and enhance ISO9001, 14001, 18001 and ISO22301
  • Overseas expansion and Administrate Overseas Travel Applications for business trips
  • Facilitate yearly employee climate survey
  • Perform payroll function (salary & bonus processing) for staff on a monthly basis – checking
  • Improve the current HR policies and ensure we meet MOM law compliance
  • Provide sound HR guidance and advice to the Management and Heads of Department on government initiatives, best practices and employment laws
  • Maintain and update records relating to leave administration, training & personnel-records in Sage Easypay system
  • Conduct Performance Appraisals twice a year for all staff
  • Handle employee enquiries on HR Matters
  • Manage recruitment process from advertising (through various job portals) to making interview arrangements
  • Personnel administration and preparing Letter of Employment for new recruits
  • Manage and facilitate processes for new hires including item issuance(e.g. shoes/laptops), arranging for Mentorship program
  • Perform payroll function (salary & bonus processing) for staff on a monthly basis – preparing
  • Responsible for any issues e.g. staff enquiry / updates / system errors on SAGE Easypay
  • Perform payroll support functions including payroll calculation, allowances / OT claims / staff referral
  • NPL / MC tracking – to ensure compliance
  • Handle mandatory government related surveys
  • Handle Man-Year applications to MOM
  • Administration of Long-Service Awards
  • Work with QC to organise and conduct Proficiency test
  • Manage and facilitates staff benefits functions such as Corporate activities and Hampers/Gift
  • Managing Staff movements via Leave e-portal to ensure compliance and adherence to HR’s policies
  • Staff transfer or change in allowance
  • Improve the current HR policies and ensure we meet MOM law compliance
