Job Description

Human Resources Manager plays an essential role in a fast-growing company. The candidate
will maintain and develop effective internal HR procedures, handle day-to-day employee-related
issues, support recruitment of new staff, oversee on- and off-boarding of employees, strategically plan
staff retention and oversee staff welfare plans, and keep performance of all departments at peak
levels. The candidate needs to be sensitive with the interpersonal relationships within the
organisation, while always keeping an objective view in execution of policies and procedures set.


Key roles and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Manage day-to-day employee-related issues
  • Manage on-boarding and departure of employees
  • Oversee pass application and issuance matters for all foreign employees
  • Manage all matters involving government organisations including the Labour Department (Ministry of Manpower) and other affiliated organisations
  • Prepare all employment-related reports as required by directors for internal and external use
  • Oversee Payroll processing, CPF contributions, IRAS related matters to ensure all is executed with utmost accuracy
  • Update and maintain employee records, including employment contracts, personal information, and other documents
  • Exercise sound understanding of the Employment Law in order to make sure all HR procedures are executed properly and in no violation to the statutory requirements
  • Manage teacher leaves, including sick leaves and annual leaves
  • Staff welfare management
  • Crisis management with prompt solutions provided and reports provided for higher management
  • Execute all other tasks as instructed by HR Director

 

Pre-Requisites:

  • A university degree in any discipline can be considered, preferably in the field of human resources management, finance or business administration
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Strong organisation skills with attention to detail required
  • Knowledge of MOM statutory requirements required
  • Knowledge of CPF, GPL, IRAS requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of pass issuance process for foreign employees preferred
