Job Description

US automation company with final assembly manufacturing operations including cleanroom facility 

Reporting to Regional HR Manager with over 300 headcount in Singapore

  • Perform HR function to support management and line managers on HR issues such as recruitment, employee relations, performance appraisal, training matters, on boarding, disciplinary matters, dismissals and etc
  • Involve in recruitment activities for direct and indirect labour to ensure placement is fill-up within expected time frame
  • Administer MOM work pass application, renewal, cancellation and other related matters
  • Engage and build relationship with internal stakeholders from admin office and production.
  • Handle technicians / operators matters  from leave administration, personal effects, communication and disciplinary cases  
  • Liaise with the hiring managers on interview arrangement for short listed candidates
  • Ensure and upkeep on employees’ documentation, personal data records, training records and contracts
  • Keep abreast and be updated on Employment Act and Statutory to ensure company regulations and practices are law-complying
  • Conduct stand up on-board briefing and orientation for new employees and exit interviews
  • Support other HR activities and processes on ad-hoc basis

Requirement

  • University degree with HR or business management background from a reputable international organisation
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a electronics manufacturing environment with cleanroom facilities
  • Experience with staffing of direct labour and working in a manufacturing environment is a prerequisite
  • Sound knowledge on Employment Act and Statutory requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, has initiatives, able to priority, firm and hands on approach
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Words and Excel
