Job Description

Leading US equipment manufacturing company supporting semiconductor industry with cleanroom faciliity

  • Perform HR function to support management and manufacturing operations HR issues such as recruitment, employee relations, performance appraisal, training matters, on boarding, disciplinary matters, dismissals and etc
  • Conduct recruitment activities for direct and indirect labour placement is completed within expected time frame while meeting manufacturing needs
  • Liaise with MOM and administer work pass application, renewal, cancellation and other related matters
  • Build rapport, engage and sustain good relationshop with stakeholders from office staff and manufacturing operations 
  • Engage and handle technicians / operators matters  from leave administration, personal effects, communication and disciplinary cases to a closure  
  • Liaise and coordinate interview arrangement for shortlisted candidates with the hiring managers 
  • Ensure employees’ documentation, personal files, training records and contracts are kept and well maintained 
  • Keep abreast with Employment Act and Statutory to ensure company regulations and practices are law-complying and relevant
  • Conduct presentation and briefings to new employeees for orientation and employee communications briefing 
  • Support other HR activities and processes on ad-hoc basis

Requirement

  • Degree in HR or business management background from a MNC manufacturing organisation
  • At least 5 years of performing HR function in a electronics manufacturing environment with cleanroom facilities
  • Experience with handling recruitment, employee relations, strong HR knowledge and administration dealing with direct labour in a mid-size manufacturing environment is a requirement
  • Sound knowledge on Employment Act and Statutory 
  • Independent, engaging, energetic, resourceful and good communication 
  • Work well in a small team, hands on with good initiatives
  • SAP knowledge, Microsoft Office skills: Words and Excel
