We are looking for a Head Baker to lead our kitchen staff– someone who will contribute to and oversee all production and is expected to maintain a positive and efficient workflow at both our current and future kitchen locations. The Head Baker will be responsible for the production quality, quantity, and efficiency of all other bakers, and is strictly expected to maintain cleanliness at all times on the job. They must have willingness to learn from senior members of the team, and follow recipes with attention to detail, then impart their knowledge to the other bakers. Candidates are required to be flexible, proactive, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
-Be an exemplary leader to the bakers
-Follow instructions and recipes with great attention to detail
-Be the person of contact with regards to all production matters
-Ensure that quality and quantity of all products being produced is up to company standards
-Helping with and ensuring that packaging of baked goods are up to company standards.
-Minimise wastage of ingredients and stock
-Ensure freshness of all products
-Daily stock count of ingredients and production
-Ensure that the kitchen and all workspaces are kept clean at all times
-Ensure compliance of all food safety standards in the bakery process
-Singaporeans and PRs preferred
-At least two years of experience at related confectioneries and bakeries is preferred
-Ability to read and understand recipes
-Able to work 6 days per week
-Possess a WSQ food hygiene certificate
-Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
-Positive attitude, team player and good communication skills
