Job Description

Objectives

  • Key Business Partner to senior Sales and Marketing leadership globally across the Group
  • Drive FP&A function to provide systematic and insightful information that enable decision making for both short and long term
  • Responsible for system solutions and processes that facilitate timely and accurate management reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining strong partnership between business, various Global Functions and Finance Organization
  • Participate actively in M&A activities around the Group
  • Lead, train, develop and manage FP&A team

 

Scopes & Responsibilities

  • Support CEO and Global Finance VP in formulating long term strategic business direction and goals
  • Drive annual budget by partnering Regional Finance heads, Regional VP, Group Marketing Organization, etc, to set short term business direction
  • Responsible for monthly forecast process, to enable forward looking analysis to support decision making to meet business goals
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring financial performance of the Group, focusing on supporting the growth in revenue and profitability
  • Monitor, analyse and report customer pricing trends to support achievement of revenue goal
  • Support Global Finance VP in financial update to the Board
  • Ownership of FP&A tools and roadmaps to drive continuous improvements and support timely and accurate information for decision making
  • Track and analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, and recommend actions to support the Group to meet short and long-term business goals
  • Create and Execute FP&A roadmap for the Group
  • Develop and motivate FP&A team in the Group
  • Support M&A activities and any other duties assigned by Global Finance VP

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • 14-17 years of working experience, with at least 5 years as manager
  • Experience in driving FP&A globally or at least regionally in a MNC environment
  • Finance Operations and FP&A experience gained in a trading/manufacturing environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced Excel skill. SAP BPC and BW knowledge an advantage. A good understanding of IT systems and databases in general
  • A self-motivated leader and team player, you are proactive, matured and independent. You have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation/influencing skills; and are comfortable dealing with all levels of staff across borders, especially with Senior Management
  • You possess a willingness and ability to be 'hands-on' and are meticulous
  • Self-starter, resourceful, go getter attitude and proven problem solving track record
  • Good knowledge of English and Mandarin to manage and liaise with chinese speaking counterparts
  • Location: West
  • 5 days work week
