Job Description
We are a boutique pilates studio looking for a passionate individual to provide support to clients and instructors with above-and-beyond service, ensuring that their experiences with the studio is pleasant and worth remembering. He / She will provide essential administration support too.
ROLES :
1. Welcoming visitors and instructors
Greets everyone who walks in to the studio
Ask why they are here, who they are meeting etc
2. Engaging with regular clients/instructors
Inform instructors which studio they are using
Direct them to waiting area/studio/instructor
Knowing which clients need to make payment and informing them/collecting payment before the start of the session or at the end of the session
3. Answering walk in and phone enquiries
Understands business services and basic technical questions
Knows who to direct questions to if unsure and how to phrase reply if unsure of answer
Where to find information if necessary
4. Booking and scheduling of appointments via phone or in person
To key into system immediately upon booking
Inform instructors after booking
Ensure that there is no clash of schedule
Sign in and check out all private/group class
5. Sales
Collecting payment for Pilates
Collecting payment for education courses
Keying in of payments to appropriate channels
Reporting of sales tally
Knowing which client needs to make payment and inform them before the start of their session
6. Basic housekeeping
To ensure the studio is neat and tidy at all times
Refill water
Refill snacks
Emptying thrash
Clearing the tables
Packing up after each hour to ensure studio looks fresh after each class
7. Administrative Duties
Filing of documents
Checking mailbox once a week
