Job Responsibilities

POSITION PROFILE

We are looking for an Human Resource (HR) professional with a clear strategic perspective of the end-to-end HR value chain to fill our HR Change Management and Workforce Transformation Lead role. You will report to the Head of Strategic HR, and be responsible for leading Change & Communications Management and Workforce transformation. Together with the team, you will champion change & communication management, program management of key HR & Workforce strategic initiatives to deliver impact for UOB.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Problem solve with the business leaders on people & organization topics
  • Provide change management expertise and experience to leaders of the bank’s transformation initiatives
  • Formulate change & communication strategy (target audience, messages, channels, etc.) to position UOB’s people practices and engage the bank’s internal and external stakeholders
  • Program manage various strategic HR initiatives to drive the change
  • Lead workforce transformation initiatives for the bank
  • Develop a team with the relevant expertise and consulting skills to deliver the above
  • Act as thinking partner for Strategic HR Head
Job Requirements
  • Strong academics from a top-tier institution. MBA preferred but not essential
  • At least 5 years of work experience at one of the top management consulting firms with deep experience in People/Organization topic
  • Experience in Financial services with good grasp of the banking business models. Experience in leadership role in driving projects and manage team – owning the project process, content and day-to-day client interactions will be an added advantage
  • Project experience related to managing change, transformation and HR strategy
  • Strong track record of stakeholder’s management incl. senior leaderships, managers and working level. Problem solving – structuring, hypotheses forming, driving analysis and making recommendations
  • Strong core consulting skills including problem scoping and structuring, prioritization, team coaching & development
  • Highly regarded within the industry proven track records
  • Business acumen – not just a HR person. Resourceful – effectively leverage professional skills and relationships to solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills
  • Flexible, curious and creative, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas
  • Strong team player, impeccable integrity, resilient
