Finance Senior Officer (AP)
Job Description
Type: 1 year contract, with possibilities of renewal
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to high volume of Accounts Payable (AP) Helpdesk inquiries in shared services from both internal andexternal customers.

Resolve customer concerns and escalate to appropriate level when necessary.

Collaborate with teammates and initiate ideas with management to identify, design, and implement process improvements forgreater efficiency and effectiveness.
·
Work closely with other functional areas (Procurement, Receiving, Billing & Collections, Treasury etc.) to resolve issues andsupport achievement of business goals.
·
Review AP reconciliation reports to follow up with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of the liability balance.
·
Educate vendors and internal users on AP processes and inquiry tools to encourage self-help functions to improveefficiencies.
·
Cross-train and provide back-up for other Helpdesk officers when needed.
Job Requirement:

At least 3 years of Accounts Payables experience, preferably with experience in Helpdesk or customer service.
·
Possess a broad understanding of Accounts Payable processes as well as processes outside of Payables that impact theteam.
·
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, including resolving issues timely and influencing the resolution ofissues when responsibility falls outside of Payables.
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment includingbeing able to quickly adapt to change is required.
·
Must be enthusiastic and a team player.
