Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the Finance Department in managing the financial operations of the organization in compliance with regulatory requirements and the Charities Code of Governance
  • Review, develop and implement sound financial policies, processes and procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements
  • Prepare and submit budget and analysis for the Board’s approval, as well as financial declarations to government and approved bodies
  • Assist the Board Treasurer in all financial matters and provide secretariat support to the Finance & Admin Committee and Investment Committee

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications with CPA
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Good understanding of Code of Governance, Charities Accounting & FRS
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting e.g. Microsoft Dynamic Nav Classic accounting software
  • Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
