Job Requirements and Responsibilities

TECHNICAL:
- Detail understanding of Mechanical system design in Semiconductor indurstry including its associated equipments working principles (e.g. HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, fans, etc) is preferred.

- Perform troubleshooting and rectification work independently, applying basic theories and principles to prevent repeat and interruptions

- Able to work with and lead respective contractor to complete PM/CM jobs effectively to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of the Mechanical systems

- Able to establish/prioritize major PM/CM activities and lead team in completing all assigned tasks within regime schedule

- Able to evaluate and supervise Mechanical modification or enhancement projects.
- Able to work with cross functional team effectively in driving projects or troubleshooting

- Basic understanding of relevant regulatory standards/codes applicable to PM/CM work to be carried out is preferred.
- Lead team members in finding opportunities of improvement from Safety, quality and productivity perspective through EQCC/QCC projects

GENERAL:
- Develop effective PM regimes and monitor PM contracts cost closely
- Provide information/inputs through gathering and organizing of data
- Review work procedures and highlight activities which may cause interruptions
- Utilize KT approach, e.g. Potential Problem Analysis(PPA) to carry out troubleshooting in systematic and logical process to Identify the root cause of issues and resolve it.

- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft project and Powerpoint
 

COMMUNICATION/COORDINATION:
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with all relevant internal and external team members including contractors to ensure efficient completion of projects and PM/CM

- Good presentation and communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in related field is preferred

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in exhaust fan, wet scrubber, process cooling water, cooling tower, chiller, boiler, water tank, water treatment, centrifugal water pump, vacuum pump, heating ventilating and air-condition, vibration analysis, fire protection system maintenance and construction in semiconductor industries preferred
