Job Description

The Executive role is a key support member of the team who is responsible for assisting in social listening, social content creation and development, campaign and social media reporting, and adding value to our communities across key platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Content Creation and Development

  • Drive the social agenda for Sands Rewards Loyalty Program, Entertainment, Hotel, etc
  • Create balanced and engaging content for multiple social media platforms for business units under supervision of Social Media Managers  
  • Coordinate content calendars with other editorial calendars across Marketing & Communications
  • Work closely with stakeholders in different business units to create and share compelling content with social media audience
  • Enhance user-generated strategy, planning and execution
  • Provide support for influencer management and engagement where required

Community Management

  • Monitor, engage and respond to conversations from various communities on our social media channels, including addressing customer service situations
  • Identify interesting articles and flag incidents to the Social Media team, done through monitoring of reports and news briefs 
  • Provide monitoring support after office hours 6 pm – 12 am weekdays and throughout weekends (based on duty roster)

Event Support

  • Live coverage for events while monitoring and responding to social chatter
  • Examples in recent years include Marvel’s Captain America Red Carpet Fan Event and annual Sands for Singapore Charity Festival

Reputation Management

  • Compile daily reports from TripAdvisor and online reputation management
  • Draft day-to-day reactive communications for various platforms


  • Assist Social Media Analyst in producing monthly social media and campaign reports, including ad-hoc requests

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Hospitality or another related field
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a Social Media role preferred
  • Passion for Social Media and user knowledge of all major Social Media platforms and tools
  • Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way
  • Adaptable and versatile to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent command of English
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc is a plus
  • Get along with fellow Team Members and work as a team
  • Meet the working hours requirements of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies
  • Self-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance
