About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the MD, Head of Engagement, this strategic role will lead and drive the development of a world class customer analytics function designed to deliver insights and advanced analytics supporting our vision to have the most engaged customers.


Role Overview

•    Design the strategy and delivery pipeline for the Customer Analytics team 
•    Lead and manage a team of data engineers, data analysts and data visualization specialists 
•    Contribute to the development of a world class customer experience across a range of digital platforms through the use of advanced, predictive and cognitive analytics solutions
•    Lead, direct and manage analytics and data build initiatives for web and mobile delivery 
•    Work closely with the digital product managers, user experience designers and other relevant stakeholders in order to oversee the prioritization of the analytics and data components of the Digital Roadmap and achieve the KPIs and goals for the Group Retail Digital Bank Team

Job Accountabilities 

•    Drive the recruitment and creation of a world class customer analytics team.  
•    Manage the prioritization, scope and KPIs for the team
•    Responsible for motivating, leading, planning and organizing the Customer Analytics team in the Digital Bank to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile data projects that provide exceptional analytical insights.
•    Put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the team
•    Translate data insights into actions and recommendations that will drive user growth and engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
•    Develop quantitative analysis, data visualization and models to support marketing and product decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to) retention, lifetime value, messaging, promotions, usage and engagement.
•    Innovate and produce high quality data visualization (charts, infographics) and presentations to clearly and effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
