Devops Engineer (Senior Consultant)

• 1 year contract, renewable/convertible
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 830am to 6pm

Duties & Responsibilities: 

i.    Drive top quality technical support that leads to increased customer satisfaction and product adoption;
ii.    Share subject matter expertise across the team in order to enhance team effectiveness and ensure quality of DevOps activities;
iii.    Coach and support the team in order to increase technical and operational capability;
iv.    Collaborate with development and engineering team to evaluate Bugs and Feature Requests;
v.    Identify trends and report on areas of concern in the product and articulate issue clearly, cite the implications, and offer alternative options for consideration;
vi.    Proactively manage team dynamics to ensure that the team function effectively;
vii.    Be the first point of escalation for customer issues being handled by your team, or as assigned; 
viii.    Enhance system robustness by improving the test-driven CI/CD pipelines in the product development cycle.
ix.    Make the system more resilient by revising the disaster recovery strategy to improve RTO and RPO in a cost-effective manner; and
x.    Lead triage and root cause analysis work on major or repeated incidents.

Requirements:

i.    At least 5 years experience in managing a DevOps team,
ii.    Strong hands-on technical exposure managing Cloud applications and infrastructure, including but not limited to prior use of Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless framework;
iii.    Strong technical knowledge on DevOps and SRE tools
iv.    Skilled at explaining technical problems and issues succinctly and clearly;
v.    Able to execute with agility and innovate for results;
vi.    Strong analytical thinking, ability to debug complex issues; 
vii.    Experience in working in GCC; and
viii.    Familiar with Agile delivery methodology.

i.    AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional or AWS DevOps Professional
