Our client is seeking for suitable candidates to join them as Design Engineer with Consultant Background

Responsibilities

• Assist the technical manager to review design drawings from consultants to save cost or construction time
• Work closely with internal departments and consultants to update on design drawing requirements
• coordinate on design matters with Consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities
• Prepare, monitor and track design schedule and prepare project specification
• Coordinate and prepare technical submission for AIP, design drawings, method statement, etc.
• Review all method statement submitted by sub-contractors
• Resolve construction issues on design drawings and liaise closely with Architects, Consultants as well as authorities to obtain design approval
• Support in research, development and prepare recommendations for alternative engineering solutions and select, modify and adapt standards, techniques and procedures in assigned functional area
• Support contract administration and construction inspections for moderately complex projects, including reviewing final plans, specifications, special condition and agreements

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experienced with MRT or mixed development or condo projects
