Data Center Operator (Bedok)

• 1 year contract , renewable
• Working Location: Bedok
• Working Hours: 12 hours shift, work 2 days off 2 days

The staff shall perform:

• a. Facility Management 
  • i. Monitoring and inspection of facilities for faults or alarms  
  • ii. Escort and supervise various contractors for facilities servicing and maintenance 
• b.   Physical Security Management  
  • i. To process and validate clearance into Data Centre 
  • ii. Work with the developer of the DC clearance to improve on the clearance process workflow and user experience. 
  • iii. Ensure signing in and out of Data Centre 
  • iv. Manage and maintain Keypress System 
  • v. Monitor and review logs of the Surveillance System 
  • vi. Manage enrolment and access list of the Hand Vascular System/Biometric System 
• c.   Data Centre Operations Management 
  • i. Conduct assessment and submit change request for equipment movement in Data Centre 
  • ii. Incident, change and compliance management 
  • iii. Review and update SOP 
  • iv. Perform patching of the IT Infra system  supporting the Data Centre Facility and antivirus update 
  • v. Review the IT facility system logs 
  • vi. Writing and submission of monthly progress report vii. Perform Enterprise System scheduling batch job 
  • viii. Monitoring and performing IT infra backup job schedule 
  • ix. Involvement in tape offsite tasks 
  • x. Involvement in system retiring and disposal tasks. 
• d. Fire Safety Officer Role 
  • i. Assist with fire evacuation exercise and ensure personnel are out of their respective rooms.  

Requirements:

• a.  Know how of operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows (10/2008/2012/2016)  
• b. Min 1 year of relevant experience in DC
