Job Description

 

 

Customer Service Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers and overseas offices and keep the customer informed on shipment status
  • Prepare quotations and submit to customers
  • Understand customer requirements
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Achieve a positive success rate of quotations submitted
  • Handle cross trades
  • Develop customers / gain new customers
  • Calling of customers for customer maintenance and reporting in the CRM system
  • Cooperate with the operations department to ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled by operations

 

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and customer service minded
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry within customer service areas, preferably with food & beverage exposure
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows
  • Driven to grow the business for the company
  • Good teamwork
