Job Description

The CRM Marketing Manager (CMM) will own the planning and execution of our data driven email campaigns and build deeper marketing integration with our marketing automation platform.

This role will also work to develop our CRM capabilities via marketing platforms and the Tealium platform to drive better segmentation through audience data analysis and thereby ensuring email campaigns are more relevant and personalized.

The CMM will work directly with our internal stakeholders to ensure we are making effective campaign decisions based on quality customer information. The ideal person for this role is highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, good at multitasking, and focused on delivering an excellent customer experience.

Whilst managing relationships with each of our business units, the CMM will apply industry best practices, develop and implement email marketing strategies that focus on list growth and campaign performance with the goal of driving revenue across the business. The CMM will use a data-driven mindset to maximize the effectiveness of creative, segmentation, and deliverability. The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop and manage contact strategy to drive acquisition, engagement and conversion
  • Assist in the delivery of personalization strategy and roadmap through Tealium and other relevant marketing platforms
  • Perform and enhance audience analysis through data collected across platforms to understand user behavior/engagement across the customer journey to deliver an optimized communication plan
  • Project manage all of our Brand, Tactical and Service email campaigns, deploying campaigns via our enterprise level email campaign tools
  • Manage all aspects of the email marketing life-cycle, from prospecting to engagement, nurturing, and re-engagement
  • Lead a coordinated email acquisition strategy, campaigns, and monitoring of list health
  • Manage operational logistics and technical setup across relevant platforms to optimize platform usability and deliverability
  • Provide best practice expertise to the team on strategy, segmentation, creative and deployment
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations based on performance analysis and industry insight to facilitate ongoing campaign planning
  • Create and setup campaigns alongside each business unit stakeholder to deliver targeted communication to dedicated database lists
  • Monitor performance of campaigns to continuously refine and improve campaign performance with better content, targeting and approach
  • Tracking all campaign related performance and collating trend analysis to constantly improve campaign performance
  • Create and facilitate comprehensive strategies including marketing automation, customer journeys, and life-cycle campaigns
  • Review new technologies and keep at the forefront of email marketing developments

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related field
  • 5 years in a digital marketing role managing CRM/Email
  • Solid understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable recommendations through data analysis to influence business decisions and strategies
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in web analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, or similar) with understanding of ROI and web conversion metrics
  • Experience managing vendors / partners to ensure timeline is met and output is optimized with key focus on driving business performance in the most efficient approach
  • Strong project management skills, proactive in running initiatives end-to-end by owning the entire process
  • Well organized and pro-active with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Experience in eCommerce or digital marketing a plus
