Content & Community Manager (MICE, oil & gas sector)

A leading MICE company is launching a new community in its oil & gas/ energy portfolio, & is seeking a Content & Community Manager.

The ideal candidate comes from a journalism background - writing up opinion pieces/ breaking stories & interviewing industry leaders are second nature to you. Community management within the social media sphere is part of your repertoire. 

Responsibilities:

• Create content - breaking news, opinion pieces, maintenance of company blog page + commission blog posts & third party contributions

• Conduct interviews (audio & filmed), including transcribing & posting

• Host/ moderate live discussions with panel of industry leaders - live, filmed or virtual

• Expand & grow readership in given sector

Requirements:

• A background in journalism &/ or the oil & gas/ energy sector will see you slip into the role with ease

• Comfortable with the pen (written pieces), your voice (audio interviews) & your own skin (hosting/ moderation of live sessions)

• Experience in community management & growth

• At least 2 years & up of relevant experience
